The curriculum maps are an important feature that is provided in the WIDS system. WCTC uses these to determine where the learning outcomes are introduced, reinforced and assessed
The program configuration feature helps determine where to focus attention on documentation
Anywhere/anytime options for working on or viewing curriculum

Recently, WCTC starting using WIDS to extensively document credit for prior learning and prior learning assessment. The college also uses WIDS to track transcripted credit courses with K12 partners.
