Junior Achievement
Junior Achievement (JA) is the world's largest organization providing K-12 curriculum on entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial literacy. Junior Achievement provides in-school and after-school learning opportunities to more than 4 million students in the United States and an additional 5 million students around the globe.
JA contracted with WIDS to analyze their courses for alignment with Common Core ELA and Math standards, as well as state Social Studies standards (economics, personal finance, business, etc.). WIDS tasks included:
- Map key learning objectives to state and national standards (Common Core, Financial Literacy, NCSS, etc. )
- Make correlations between JA programs and standards transparent to teachers in program reports
- Deliver hundreds of state/national correlations reports for JA's 23 programs
