The University of Wisconsin Sandra Rosenbaum School of Social work used WIDS for three professional development training sessions. The training for Wisconsin child welfare curriculum specialists focused on:

• Designing professional development courses according to current learning-centered, performance-based, instructional design principles
• Coaching specialists through a design process to complete approximately five professional development courses including learning plans, teaching plans, learning materials, and performance-based assessments
• Training specialists in the art of facilitating future collaborative curriculum development initiatives
