Air Force JROTC Science of Flight

WIDS sub-contracted as instructional design consultant for the Air Force JROTC to create instructor guides and student learning materials for the  Science of Flight: A Gateway to New Horizons course.  WIDS worked closely with Holms Center Curriculum Directorate, the contracted textbook publisher, and subject matter experts from the US Air Force and NASA. 

This project’s deliverables included:

• Development of competencies and objectives for SOF
• Alignment of competencies to National Science and Mathematic Standards
• Development of writing, science, mathematics, and technology related learning activities with learning materials, instructional strategies, and formative assessments for the course’s Instructor Guide
