Wisconsin Technical Colleges
The Basic Computer Skills MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) was created with U.S. Department of Labor TAACCCT grants funding by the Wisconsin Technical College System. This fully developed course has nine interactive learning plans focused on key computer literacy topics, multiple pre-tests to assist in targeting learner skill gaps, and is freely available for download into any SCORM compatible LMS. WIDS consultants helped bring this project to life by facilitating key portions of this course development, including collaborative development of the course curriculum and course pre-assessments. Take a look at this impressive effort from stakeholders across Wisconsin, including: WTCS instructors from multiple disciplines; student services, learning resource centers, and adult basic education professionals; college curriculum specialists; WIDS facilitators; and the online course developers from Fox Valley Technical College.
