McHenry County College

WIDS worked with the McHenry County College, IL to refine programs of study in several key career and technical areas.  To ensure programs were aligned with local employer needs, WIDS began the project by conducting virtual DACUMs.  Each DACUM resulted in an occupational profile and set the target for program graduates.  Faculty used the DACUM to identify gaps and overlaps in their current programs.  WIDS facilitated faculty meetings guiding their work and helping them document results. All of the key data was entered into the WIDS software to layout a program of study with multiple exit and entry points. 

The result?  Seven new programs of study that meet the Illinois Community College board criteria!
