Valid Learning & Teaching Plans

In earlier blog posts, we talked about learning activities: how to make them learner-centered, how to ensure they are effective, and making sure learning activities go beyond remembering and understanding.

In WIDS, learning plans organize your learning activities. Each learning plan addresses one competency. While learning plans are written for students, teaching plans are for teachers. Teaching plans include the parallel documentation for learning activities: teaching notes and learning materials/supplies. Teaching notes may include the time of each activity, options for universal learning design or hybrid courses, key points for guided discussion, etc.

WIDS gives you an easy way to document learning plans and teaching plans. And because the WIDS framework defines learning activities by competency, you have validation for your outcomes!
