As director of WIDS, Dr. Leah Osborn leads a team of expert Learning Design Consultants, all centered on using WIDS’s proven methodology to develop performance-based courses and programs. She relishes tackling large, complex, instructional design projects, leading her team to provide the expertise and experience needed to take on each project effectively and efficiently.
As a WIDS Consultant Leah has facilitated collaborative system-wide curriculum initiatives and delivered instructional design consulting services to college, university, K–12, government and corporate clients throughout the United States, Canada, and Middle East. In addition to her WIDS experience, Leah has been a college administrator, curriculum specialist, and instructor.
Leah holds a Ph.D. in Adult Learning from the University of Connecticut, a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Austin, a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Arts Education from the University of Vermont, and an associate degree in Computer Integrated Manufacturing from Moraine Park Technical College.
