Judy has led the WIDS Team of instructional designers and software developers since its inception in 1992. As a frontline learning designer, Judy also works as senior consultant with education and business clients to plan and implement performance-based learning design projects and initiatives. Judy is a frequent presenter at national conferences such as, National Council on Continuing Education and Training (NCCET), League for Innovation in Community Colleges, and NCA’s Higher Learning Commission Meeting.

During her 30 years with the Wisconsin Technical College System, Judy has managed program and curriculum development, facilitated numerous DACUM occupational analyses, founded one of Wisconsin’s first tech prep programs, served as associate dean of general education, initiated her college’s first distance learning program, developed a community outreach and continuing education program, and taught communication and sociology.

Judy earned a master’s degree in continuing and adult education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a bachelor of art’s degree with majors in economics and speech from Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin.
